Cloud Infrastructure Architect

Job Description

  • Proven experience in enterprise cloud architecture, with hands-on expertise in both Azure and AWS.
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, monitoring, and networking in production environments).
  • Solid experience with Terraform and other Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • Deep understanding of cloud migration strategies, security, compliance, and cost optimization.
  • Ability to create architecture documentation, roadmaps, and reference implementations.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., healthcare, finance) is a plus.
  • Expertise in automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) for task and workflow automation.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

     

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and drive the enterprise cloud infrastructure strategy, aligning it with business and technical goals.
  • Lead the migration of complex workloads from Azure to AWS, ensuring performance, security, and compliance.
  • Architect and optimize hybrid and multi-cloud environments, with a strong focus on scalability, high availability, and cost efficiency.
  • Define and enforce infrastructure standards, patterns, and best practices across engineering teams.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of container orchestration using Kubernetes.
  • Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for consistent and repeatable deployments.
  • Collaborate with software engineering, DevOps, and security teams to ensure robust cloud-native solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on infrastructure modernization, cloud governance, and DevSecOps practices.
