Cloud Infrastructure Architect
Job Description
- Proven experience in enterprise cloud architecture, with hands-on expertise in both Azure and AWS.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, monitoring, and networking in production environments).
- Solid experience with Terraform and other Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Deep understanding of cloud migration strategies, security, compliance, and cost optimization.
- Ability to create architecture documentation, roadmaps, and reference implementations.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., healthcare, finance) is a plus.
- Expertise in automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) for task and workflow automation.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and drive the enterprise cloud infrastructure strategy, aligning it with business and technical goals.
- Lead the migration of complex workloads from Azure to AWS, ensuring performance, security, and compliance.
- Architect and optimize hybrid and multi-cloud environments, with a strong focus on scalability, high availability, and cost efficiency.
- Define and enforce infrastructure standards, patterns, and best practices across engineering teams.
- Oversee the design and implementation of container orchestration using Kubernetes.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for consistent and repeatable deployments.
- Collaborate with software engineering, DevOps, and security teams to ensure robust cloud-native solutions.
Provide technical leadership and guidance on infrastructure modernization, cloud governance, and DevSecOps practices.
