  • Project Description:

    Objective:
    The objective of this project is to design and develop a comprehensive In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) system for automobiles, focusing on UI/UX design, IVI system architecture, and software development. The goal is to enhance the in-car user experience, provide seamless connectivity, and deliver a feature-rich entertainment and information platform.

    Key Components:
    UI/UX Design:
    Create an intuitive and visually appealing user interface for the IVI system.
    Design user-friendly navigation, controls, and visual elements for optimal usability.
    Ensure a consistent and responsive user experience across various screen sizes and resolutions.
    IVI System Design:
    Develop a modular and scalable IVI system architecture.
    Integrate multimedia features, including audio/video playback, navigation, and smartphone connectivity.
    Implement connectivity options such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and USB for seamless device integration.
    Support voice recognition and other hands-free functionalities.
    Software Architecture:
    Define the overall software architecture of the IVI system.
    Implement a robust and secure software framework to handle multimedia processing, communication, and external device interactions.
    Incorporate a flexible application framework to allow for future updates and enhancements.
    Integration with Vehicle Systems:
    Collaborate with automotive engineers to ensure seamless integration with vehicle systems and controls.
    Implement protocols for communication with vehicle sensors and interfaces.
    Ensure compatibility with existing in-car systems such as climate control and steering wheel controls.
    Testing and Quality Assurance:
    Conduct thorough testing of the IVI system to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.
    Implement a testing strategy for UI/UX validation, software functionality, and system integration.
    Address and resolve any identified issues through rigorous quality assurance processes.
    Documentation:
    Create comprehensive documentation for UI/UX design, IVI system architecture, and software development.
    Provide user manuals and technical documentation for end-users and maintenance teams.
    Project Timeline:
    Define a project timeline with milestones for each phase, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
    Regularly review and update the project schedule based on progress and adjustments.
    This project aims to deliver a cutting-edge IVI system that not only meets but exceeds user expectations in terms of functionality, aesthetics, and integration within the automotive environment. The project team will work collaboratively to bring innovative features to the in-car experience while adhering to industry standards and best practices.

  • Responsibilities:

    1. Participate in the requirement analyzing before SW development with Partners to achieve project deliverables and milestone.
    2. Understand and Support technical solutions specification in collaboration with system engineers.
    3. Contribute to SOFTWARE specifications, architecture and integration with dedicated teams.
    4. Summarize the existing function requirements, able to map the SPECs with vehicle signals and HMI requirements.
    5. Define associated test environment, contribute to its evolution, automatization.
    6. Ensure compliance of practices with internal process, safety, cybersecurity, regulation, ISO26262 expectations.

  • Mandatory Skills Description:

    1. A master degree in engineering, electronics, control, computer science or embedded software.
    2. Over 5 Years of professional experience as feature owner in automotive industry.
    3. Strong knowledge in Model-Based-Design (Matlab/Simulink).
    4. Experience of standards in software development (for e.g. ISO 26262).
    5. Experience in Automotive SW development/ feature implementation projects.

  • Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

    1. Strong experience of version management tools (Git, SVN).
    2. Usage of continuous integration, continuous testing solutions.
    3. Knowledge of V-cycle and Agile organization (Safe, Scrum,...).
    4. Knowledge of automotive execution environment (Classic Autosar, Service-Oriented Arrchitecture).
    5. Programming skills(C/C ++/Python).
