Trainee/Junior QA Engineer

As a Junior QA Engineer at N3XT, you will be an integral part of our dynamic eCommerce team. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our eCommerce platform by performing various testing activities. You will collaborate with the development team, product managers, and designers to deliver a seamless online shopping experience for our customers.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
- Manual Testing: Perform manual testing on new and existing features of the eCommerce platform, including web and mobile applications, to identify bugs, defects, and issues.
- Test Case Creation: Assist in creating and maintaining detailed test cases and test plans based on functional and technical requirements.
- Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that new changes do not affect the existing functionality of the platform.
- Cross-Browser & Cross-Device Testing: Test the platform’s compatibility across multiple browsers, devices, and screen sizes to ensure a smooth user experience.
- Bug Reporting: Identify, report, and track bugs and issues using bug-tracking tools, ensuring they are addressed by the development team in a timely manner.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to understand requirements, clarify functionality, and ensure quality standards are met.
- Performance Testing: Assist in basic performance and load testing to ensure the platform can handle high traffic volumes, especially during peak seasons.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of test results, test cases, and issue reports.
