System Analyst

 Description of the project and team:

Softengi is looking for a skilled System/Business analyst with solid technical background to join an international project requiring business trips to Africa and Caribbean region. The role involves analyzing business needs, optimizing processes, and supporting project implementation. 

Expected duties are:

• Business trips to Africa and  Caribbean region depending on project needs.
• Stakeholder Identification and engagement.
• Processes analysis in the E-Gov domain. 
• On-site customer training conduct.
• Conduct elicitation activities and development of SRS, API documentation, workshop reports, user manuals and relevant technical documentation.

• Act as solution architecture/designer and key project knowledge holder.

   

Required skills and experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in system/business analysis.
• Upper-Intermediate English level.
• Experience in writing SRS (Software Requirements Specification) and SDD (Software Design Description) documents including technical functional requirements, non-functional requirements, API descriptions, data models, business processes, and logical/physical system architecture.
• Experience in creating Current State Analysis documents describing the "as-is" and "to-be" states of systems.
• Experience in visualizing business processes using UML or other notations.
• Experience in writing integration documentation with detailed REST API descriptions.
• Understanding of JSON and XML formats and experience in designing API methods using these formats.
• Practical knowledge of UML diagrams, including Activity, Use Case, Sequence, and State diagrams.
• Knowledge of SQL for analyzing existing datasets, data structures, and relationships between table fields.

Will be a plus:

• Processes analysis in the Government sphere.
• Preferred experience in migration from legacy systems to new platforms, including system process reengineering during migration – data migration, API migration, and preparation of related documentation.

• General understanding of web application architecture and common technologies used in web development.
