PHP Tech Lead to $6000 Offline

We are seeking a highly experienced Tech Lead to join our dynamic team. This role will involve leading a team of two middle-level developers and taking charge of the design, development, and maintenance of complex custom CMS system used to manage a large-scale prescription medication e-commerce website. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with LAMP stack, database management, DevOps practices, and building standalone PHP applications. Additionally, familiarity with e-commerce platforms, Magento, and some Python knowledge is a strong plus.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of two middle developers, ensuring the successful completion of tasks and the development of their technical skills.
• Design, develop, and maintain custom CMS solutions tailored to manage a high-traffic prescription medication e-commerce website.
• Architect, develop, and optimize scalable, efficient, and secure web applications.
• Provide technical expertise in database management, ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability.
• Continuously evaluate and improve code quality and development processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and technical issues as they arise.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development, e-commerce, and PHP development.
   

Requirements:

• At least 8+ years of experience in PHP development with a proven track record of building standalone PHP applications (not just working with frameworks).
• Strong experience with the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP).
• Extensive experience in database management (MySQL, MariaDB, etc.), including performance optimization, indexing, and query tuning.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based deployments.
• Experience with Magento or other e-commerce platforms is a plus.
• Solid understanding of e-commerce development and managing large-scale websites with high traffic.
• Some experience with Python is a huge plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to work according to US time zones for effective collaboration with the team.
