Senior Golang Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

 

  • Design, implement, test, and deploy complex projects independently in close collaboration with your stakeholders and peers.
  • Write code in Go Language that is modular, readable, testable, and maintainable.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment of microservices.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and support team members who have less Golang experience.
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks, optimizing code and improving overall system efficiency.

 

Skills Required:

  • 3 years of experience with Go Language and REST APIs
  • 5 years of experience with deploying microservices in Kubernetes
  • 3 years of experience with AWS Dynamodb and AWS Elasticache Redis
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues within high-traffic, mission-critical, low-latency backend systems
  • Strong capability to research, self-learn, and develop deep expertise in their area
  • Experience in operational excellence - including, but not limited to: monitoring, reporting, tracing, and alerting in complex distributed components and services
  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation for a technical audience

 

NICE TO HAVE:

  • AWS Lambda, AWS Cloudformation, AWS S3, Kafka, AWS Kinesis, GCP Cloud functions, Bigquery.

 

Project Description.

 

Together with our partner, a prominent online fashion & beauty retailer in Europe, we are looking for a Senior Golang Software Engineer.

The team develops a suite of internal software products called Pseudonymization Services. These products allow our client’s software engineers and data engineers to protect the personal data of millions of customers while data is at rest, in use, and in transit.

As a Golang software engineer, you will contribute to the creation and delivery of the pseudonymization services in a distributed microservices environment.

As part of this critical technology team, you will play a key role in understanding the needs of our stakeholders and help shape the future of the pseudonymization platform. You will be operating, improving, and extending pseudonymization services, supporting integration with thousands of applications within our client’s ecosystem.
