Power BI Engineer

Description

Our Client is the Enterprise Worldwide Company. The product you will be working with, provides management and data processing/handling capabilities for networks of the clients scientific lab equipment such as microscopes, etc. The main goals are:

Collection and centralized management of data outputs (measurement results, etc.) provided by clients devices
Outdated data utilization
Managing large volumes of data acquired from measurement devices in the cloud securely and reliably
Seamless sharing of measurement data with collaborators
The ability to share measurement results and accelerate customer service.

Requirements

• Excellent Spotfire Power BI skills.
• High level of experience in SQL (AWS) and knowledge of DB analysis and optimization techniques.
• Kafka knowledge and Kafka connector knowledge are a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to come up to speed quickly on a new technical domain/product area.
• Excellent written and verbal English

Job responsibilities

• Development of Spotfire Power BI reports based on datasets provided by the Data team.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines, build datasets if the Data team is overloaded.
• Contribute to review and analysis of business requirements and technical designs and specifications.
• Engineering excellence. Become a subject-matter expert on a broad area of the product.
