Data Researcher

About the Role

 

We have two teams in the sales department: The business development team and the SalesOps team. The data researcher is a part of the SalesOps team. His/her main job is to collect, verify, structure, and maintain the quality of information. Guys from the BDM team constantly generate different hypotheses. Each hypothesis is made for a specific segment of our ICP. So, they create a technical task with all firmographic and buyer persona criteria needed to validate the hypothesis and pass it to the Data Researcher. Here you enter the game. After processing a technical task you should connect the lead list to the outreach tools and divide it between 100+ LinkedIn accounts and 100+ mailboxes to contact everyone out in the fastest way possible.

 

Input: ICP + BP + Hypothesis

Output: Cleaned & enriched contacts added to CRM + launched sequences in outreach tools.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Search for relevant accounts
  • Enrichment of accounts with necessary data
  • Buyer persona search
  • Enrichment of BP with necessary data
  • Maintaining relevance of data in CRM
  • Any operations related to searching, cleaning, enrichment, and organizing data
  • Connecting lead lists to outreach tools

 

KPI

  • Number of contacts collected: up to 10,000 contacts per month per DR  
  • Quality rate: more than 99% 
  • Email bounce rate: no more than 2%

 

Requirements

 

  • 1+ years of experience in data research-related roles. 
  • Ability to collect data from different sources and combine them into one well-cleaned files
  • Basic knowledge of the IT Industry
  • Attention to details
  • Advanced user of Excel and Google Sheets
  • Upper intermediate level of English

 

Department structure:

 

SalesOps team: SalesOps (TeamLead), SaleasOps Assistant, Data Researcher (and now we need one more, because of high workload).

Business development team: Chief of Staff (Team Lead), 3 BDMs.
