DevOps Engineer (Python, Django, Databricks)

🚀 About the Role

We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a cross-functional team working on a critical Asset Master Data system within the energy sector. This role blends backend development, infrastructure automation, and data engineering — with a strong focus on enabling a Databricks-first approach and maintaining a robust, high-performing platform.

🎯 Responsibilities

🔹 Support and improve a Django-based application (backend + UI integration)
🔹 Maintain a seamless UI experience using React or similar frameworks
🔹 Optimize and scale APIs (REST, GraphQL) for smooth performance
🔹 Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows using Azure DevOps
🔹 Support the transition and integration into Databricks & Unity Catalog
🔹 Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and infrastructure teams
🔹 Ensure system stability through automation, monitoring, and containerization

📚 Required Skills

✅ Strong Python development skills
✅ Experience with Django
✅ DevOps expertise with Azure DevOps and CI/CD practices
✅ Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and automation tools
✅ API development (REST, GraphQL)
✅ Familiarity with Databricks and Unity Catalog
✅ Experience with Google Cloud services
✅ Strong communication skills in English

💡 Nice to Have

➕ Experience in the energy domain
➕ German language skills
