Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Full-Stack Web Developer with at least 3 years of professional experience. In this role, you'll contribute to both frontend and backend development—leveraging Angular for frontend interfaces and Node.js within AWS Lambda for backend services. You will be essential in developing scalable, serverless solutions and collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and fellow developers to deliver an exceptional travel planning experience.

This role offers a fast-paced environment where you'll own significant features, utilize AWS to build serverless applications, and actively contribute to our evolving technical architecture.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Full-Stack Development: Develop, maintain, and optimize high-performance features across both frontend (Angular) and backend (Node.js) systems.
• AWS Serverless Architecture: Build and deploy scalable applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and related serverless services.
• Frontend Development: Create responsive, intuitive user interfaces in Angular, ensuring excellent user experiences across various devices.
• API Integration: Work collaboratively to securely integrate and manage RESTful APIs.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and enhance frontend and backend services for optimal speed and reliability.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance standards throughout the development lifecycle.
• Team Collaboration: Engage in code reviews, pair programming, and team knowledge-sharing sessions to uphold our high-quality standards.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• At least 3 years of experience in full-stack or related roles.
• Strong proficiency in Angular (preferably Angular 17+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Solid backend experience with Node.js, particularly in AWS serverless environments.
• Familiarity with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and IAM.
• Proven experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Proficient with Git-based workflows (GitHub or GitLab).
• Excellent problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment.
   

Bonus Skills:

• Advanced AWS experience with CloudFormation, SAM, Step Functions, or CloudWatch.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as AWS CodePipeline or Jenkins.
• Knowledge of Angular Universal (Server-Side Rendering) for performance and SEO.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
