We're looking for a skilled Performance QA Engineer whoβs passionate about building fast, scalable, and reliable systems. Youβll be at the heart of making sure our product performs flawlessly under pressure β from designing load tests to analyzing bottlenecks and fine-tuning the system. πΌ Responsibilities
- Organize and conduct the full cycle of performance testing β from requirements gathering to analytics and reporting
- Develop and maintain performance testing scripts (JMeter, Gatling, etc.)
- Model user behavior scenarios and generate test data
- Set up monitoring systems (Grafana, Prometheus, Zabbix, etc.) to track performance metrics during tests
- Analyze test results, identify architectural bottlenecks, and provide optimization recommendations
- Automate performance testing launches and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with Development, DevOps, and QA teams to improve system performance and resilience
- Prepare comprehensive reports and participate in performance reviews of new features
π§ Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in performance testing
- Hands-on experience with different types of performance tests: load, stress, stability
- Deep understanding of performance testing goals, approaches, and stages
- Practical experience with tools such as Apache JMeter or Gatling
- Ability to analyze and visualize metrics using Grafana, Prometheus, Zabbix, InfluxDB
- Experience working with PostgreSQL and/or MSSQL β ability to identify slow queries and work with explain plans
- Experience automating performance tests and integrating with CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to write clear documentation based on test results and metrics
π Nice to have
- Experience writing autotests or coding in Java (RestAssured, JUnit, TestNG)
- Experience working with microservice architecture and APIs (REST, gRPC)
- Understanding of message brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ
- Running tests in containers or Kubernetes
- Knowledge of distributed systems and specifics of testing them under load
