Data Analyst

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our growing team. This role will be primarily focused on collecting, cleaning, analyzing and transforming raw data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate findings effectively.

Key Responsibilities and tasks

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Analyze market data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies 
• Create regular and ad-hoc reports on performance metrics and business operations
• Design and maintain dashboards for key business metrics and KPIs 
• Perform statistical analysis to support business strategies and decision-making 
• Develop and implement testing methodologies to optimize business processes

Database & SQL Skills

• Write SQL queries for data extraction and analysis 
• Optimize queries for performance in large-scale data environments 
• Create and maintain views and data structures as needed 

Validate data integrity and quality across different systems

ETL & Data Processing

• Assist in designing and implementing data pipelines ·
• Monitor data replication processes and troubleshoot issues
• Work with data engineers to ensure proper data flow from source systems to analytics platforms

Transform raw data into structured formats suitable for analysis

Responsibilities in Business Context

•  Apply analytical skills to solve business problems and identify opportunities 
•  Translate business questions into data queries 
•  Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making 
•  Identify areas for process improvement through data analysis

Job Requirements

Technical Skills

•  Strong proficiency with SQL and relational databases 
•  Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools 
•  Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and methodologies

• Basic programming skills for data manipulation

   

Preferred Technical Experience

• Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms (AWS Analytics Stack will be considered an advantage)
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R 

• Familiarity with version control systems for collaborative development

   

Collaboration & Communication

• Present analytical findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders 
• Work closely with other data team members on integrated projects
• Partner with various departments to understand their analytical requirements 
• Effectively communicate complex data concepts to diverse audiences
