Senior Business Analyst (Payments and Compliance)

*About the Role*

Ceron Technologies is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to lead initiatives in payments, compliance, and financial system integration. With a key team member leaving soon, this role is crucial in ensuring smooth client onboarding, regulatory compliance (AML/KYC), and payment processing across SEPA, SWIFT, UK, and US transactions.

 

*Key Responsibilities*

  • Gather and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with technical teams.
  • Define and optimize processes for client onboarding, compliance, and payments.
  • Collaborate with PMs, developers, QA, designers, and tech support.
  • Work on API integrations and data flow diagrams for payment systems.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with KYC, AML, and risk assessment requirements.
     

*Requirements*

  • At least three years of experience in business analysis within IT or fintech.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in payments, compliance, onboarding, and financial system integration.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies, including epics, stories, and tasks.
  • Understanding of BPMN, APIs, and regulatory frameworks such as AML/KYC.
  • Upper-intermediate English for effective communication.
  • Background in banking, financial risk management, or trading is a plus.

     

Hiring Process*

  3. Case Study (Optional, 1-2 hours) – Practical task on payment flow, KYC/AML process, or compliance analysis.

  5. Offer and Negotiation – Alignment on salary, benefits, and start date.
