Senior/Lead Salesforce Engineer Offline

Job Description:

At Rakuten Advertising, Salesforce is a crucial component of how we run our organisation. It acts not only as a CRM, but also as our source of truth for all business needs and data. As we enter the next phase of our growth, Rakuten Advertising is looking to improve, simplify, and optimise our operations, including our Salesforce instance.

We are looking for a Senior or Lead Salesforce Engineer for a fixed-term contract with a possibility of its extension.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Expertise in APEX, Visualforce, Aura Components, Lightning Component Framework, and Flows.
  • Ability to develop and maintain Salesforce applications, leveraging the full capabilities of the SF platform.
  • Skilled in creating/modifying controllers, controller extensions, and triggers.
  • Experience in creating and executing unit, integration, and user acceptance test plans.
  • Proficient in analyzing and documenting technical requirements.
  • Capable of providing detailed development estimates to meet the requirements
  • Responsible for creating defined coding standards and developing maintainable code.
  • Committed to researching and utilizing Salesforce best practices to enhance system productivity and scalability.

  • Working knowledge and experience with complex business systems integration as well as object-oriented design patterns and development

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required – Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent
  • 8+ years of Salesforce Developer experience in a developer role 
  • Current Salesforce certifications (must include App Builder and Platform Developer I)
  • Experience with APIs and integrations
  • Efficient with Force.com developer toolkit - Lightning Component Framework, Apex, Visualforce, Aura components, SOQL, Webservice/SOA, Metadata APIs, and Unit Testing
  • Experience and expertise in core web technologies including HTML, JavaScript, jQuery; and web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and ETL tools
  • Experience with Salesforce Revenue Cloud and CPQ and Billing (nice to have)
  • Additional requirements preferred, but not required: Salesforce Architect certification(s), Salesforce JavaScript Developer I, and Software engineering skills with Java, JSF, SQL
