Frontend engineer Offline

Our startup is a sweepstakes casino platform focused on the US market. We strive to provide users with a unique gaming experience by combining gambling with interactive features and modern technologies. 

The product is an online slots casino where users can participate in prize draws, play a variety of games, and win real rewards. Our platform is built based on advanced technologies and complies with all US laws.

Responsibilities:

- Develop a scalable front-end architecture for a gaming platform using React.js from scratch

- Maintain and refactor existing front-end codebase, ensuring smooth migration to modern frameworks

- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs into high-quality, responsive user interfaces

- Integrate RESTful APIs, - WebSockets, and 3rd-party services for real-time functionality

- Participate in performance optimization, accessibility improvements, and cross-browser compatibility

- Work closely with back-end, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth end-to-end delivery

Background:

- 4+ years of commercial front-end development experience

- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript with strong expertise in React.js

- Experience with React ecosystem libraries: Redux/Zustand, React Router, Formik/React Hook Form, etc.

- Hands-on experience with front-end testing frameworks (Jest, Testing Library, Cypress)

- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and pre/post-processors like SASS, PostCSS

- Familiarity with modern build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Vite, etc.)

- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows

- B2+ English proficiency, both verbal and written, is required

Nice to Have:

- Experience with SSR frameworks like Next.js

- Familiarity with WebSockets and real-time application patterns

- Understanding of design systems and component libraries (Storybook, Figma to code, etc.)

- Basic knowledge of back-end development (Node.js, APIs)

- Familiarity with browser security best practices (CSP, XSS prevention, etc.)

- Exposure to cloud services or serverless functions (AWS Lambda, Firebase)

- Experience integrating with payment systems or authentication providers
