Chief Technology Officer

We are looking for a Chief Technology Officer to join the INFOBUS team.

We are now looking for an experienced, visionary, and results-oriented Chief Technology Officer to lead our technology strategy and drive innovation. You will be a key member of our leadership team, responsible for shaping the future of our platform and ensuring our technological infrastructure supports our ambitious growth plans.

 

What you will do / your areas of responsibility: ๐Ÿ’ผ

  • Developing and implementing the technology strategy: Defining the company's long-term technological vision, developing and implementing a technological roadmap aligned with business goals and market needs.
  • Leading the technology team: Forming, managing, developing, and motivating a team of engineers, architects, DevOps specialists, and other technical staff.
  • Managing platform development and architecture: Ensuring an efficient development process, implementing best practices and programming standards. Overseeing the platform's architecture, its scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Selecting and implementing new technologies: Researching, evaluating, and implementing new technologies and tools that can improve the platform's performance, functionality, and competitiveness.
  • Managing IT infrastructure and operations: Ensuring the stable and efficient operation of the company's IT infrastructure, including cloud services, networks, and security systems. Overseeing DevOps processes and ensuring continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
  • Interacting with other departments: Close collaboration with product management, design, marketing, and support teams to define technical requirements, plan releases, and ensure alignment between technological and business goals.
  • Managing budget and vendors: Planning and controlling the technology budget, managing relationships with external suppliers of technological solutions and services.
  • Ensuring security and compliance: Developing and implementing security policies and procedures, ensuring the platform's compliance with data security standards and other relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Analyzing and optimizing performance: Monitoring platform performance, identifying bottlenecks, and developing optimization measures.
  • Participating in the company's strategic planning: Contributing to the company's overall strategic planning, providing expert opinions on technological matters.

 

 

What we expect from you: โœ…

  • Work experience: Proven experience in a CTO position within a technology company (preferably in e-commerce, travel-tech, or fintech) for at least 5 years.
  • Technical expertise: Deep understanding of software development principles, architectural patterns, cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices architecture, DevOps practices.
  • Leadership qualities: Strong leadership and management skills, the ability to motivate and develop a team. Experience managing development teams of 20 or more people.
  • Experience in developing b2c products (Web + App) with 100k MAU.
  • Strategic thinking: The ability to develop and implement long-term technological strategies focused on business goals.
  • Communication skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, the ability to clearly and effectively convey technical information to both technical and business audiences.
  • Experience with agile methodologies: Practical experience working in teams using agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Knowledge of modern technologies: Understanding of the latest trends in software development, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and other advanced technologies.
  • English language: Fluent in English (Upper-Intermediate level and above).

Will be a plus:

  • Understanding of modern trends and technologies in the field of passenger transportation.
