Full-stack Engineer (React + Node.js) Offline

Movadex, a medium-sized internationally-awarded software development and design agency, is looking for a full-time full-stack engineer (React + Node.js)

 

Responsibilities:

- Writing reliable, efficient, secure, and scalable code in JavaScript & TypeScript

- Utilize React and Node.js frameworks for full-stack development

- Integrate with RESTful APIs and other third-party services (payment providers, KYC/AML solutions, media processing)

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new product solutions

- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems

 

Requirements:

- Minimum of 3 years of commercial experience in software development

- Robust professional experience with React & Node.js

- Proficiency in working with REST APIs, Git, and unit tests

- Solid experience working with cloud environments, especially AWS

- Deep understanding of CI/CD practices and tools (Netlify, Github Actions, AWS CodePipeline, etc.)

- Experience with containerization tools (Docker)

- Experience with relational databases (SQL queries, migrations, optimization)

- Experience working with task management tools (Jira, Asana, Trello) and design mockups (Figma, Adobe XD)

- Ability to write clean, effective, and scalable code, reflecting your commitment to quality

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and align your work with the team's objectives

- Self-organization, responsibility, proactiveness, and a can-do attitude

- English command: upper-intermediate or higher

 

Technical skills:

- HTML5, CSS3

- TypeScript, JavaScript

- React, Node.js, Express

- Redux and related libraries (redux-thunk, redux-toolkit, etc.), CRA, Vite

- UI libraries (MUI, Tailwind, etc.)

- RDB management (PostgreSQL, MongoDB), ORM (Drizzle, Sequelize, Prisma)

- Github, Netlify, Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI

- WebSockets

- OAuth and SSO/SAML

- AWS Tools (RDS, EC2, S3, EB, ELB, Lambda, CodePipeline, AutoDeploy, EventBridge, SNS)

- Containerization (Docker)

- Redis, RabbitMQ

 

Nice to have:

- Experience with orchestration tools (e.g. Kubernetes)

- Experience with reporting and troubleshooting tools (e.g. Datadog, Grafana, AWS Cloudwatch)

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent

 

Will be a plus:

- AWS certifications (Cloud Practitioner, Developer, Solutions Architect, etc.)

 

About the project:

- US-based digital platform for composers, song writers, and content creators, providing music licensing and buyout services

- Multiple user roles, third-party integrations, admin panels and management dashboards

- Work schedule: Monday - Friday / 10am - 7pm (Kyiv time zone)

- Potential to extend cooperation with our company further once this particular project concludes
