Python Backend developer to $2000

We’re seeking a developer with at least 2 years of experience in commercial software engineering to create the backbone of our client’s 3D render farm service.
 

Required Technologies:

• Python
• FastAPI (or Django/Flask)
• MongoDB
• AWS (S3, EC2, etc.)
• Git
   

Also Great to Have:

• Experience working with large files (e.g., streaming, efficient storage, and delivery of large datasets)
• Experience with AWS Thinkbox Deadline
• Understanding of 3D rendering processes
• Experience with WebSockets
• Knowledge of authentication mechanisms (JWT)
• Experience working in startups
   

Soft Skills:

• Strong English communication (emails, chatting)
• Realistic task estimation
• Ability to work remotely and collaboratively
   

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain APIs for file uploads, render job management, and file delivery using FastAPI, with a focus on handling large files efficiently.
• Integrate with AWS Thinkbox Deadline and AWS S3 for render processing and storage of large files.
• Implement JWT-based authentication and Stripe payment integration.
• Support real-time features with WebSockets.
