ABOUT PROJECT:

Our client is a startup developing an AI Assistant designed for healthcare to automate hospital daily administrative tasks and save hospital staff thousands of hours of manual work, and allow them to focus on patients. The AI Assistant is currently being deployed in multiple hospital groups in Italy and Austria and is expanding to the rest of Europe.

ABOUT YOU:

We are now looking for a Python Developer who is open to various activities like automation, data engineering/ETL, and integration and who is enthusiastic about learning a lot of new tools that will be necessary. This job is not for you if you believe that framework X and Tool Y are the only things you need to know in your career.

Some of the tools we’re using now are Python, SQLalchemy, PostgreSQL, pandas, Metabase, selenium, prefect2, sphinx, boto3, requests, alembic, pypdf, Docker.

AWS services: ECR, ECS, VPC, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, KMS, Fargate, EC2.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python, especially in writing documented, clean, well-structured, and efficient code. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation solutions for various business processes in healthcare.

REQUIREMENTS:

- 3+ years of commercial Python software development and/or data engineering experience;

- Solid commercial experience working with SQL databases;

- Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium or PlayWright;

- AWS and Docker (we have a DevOps, though)

poetry / pipenv. Packages building experience.

- Front-end experience is desirable but not the key requirement

- Perfect Communication skills in English (good writing and speaking, at least Upper-Intermediate level because we have a lot of technical discussions)

- We are looking for an AI-driven person (not AI developer, but a fan of various AI helpers). It’s a big plus to have a keen interest in artificial intelligence and stay updated on its latest advancements. Actively incorporating AI into one's work is essential.
