🔍Role Overview:
We are looking for an AEC Engineer with strong communication skills and understanding of IT, who can support software users in the Construction industry (mainly electrical engineers from the US). The ideal candidate will analyse user requests, formulate technical tasks for developers, and proactively identify patterns in recurring issues.
✅ Key responsibilities:
• Communicating with US-based engineers using the software for electrical design in Revit.
• Analyzing user requests, identifying errors or misuse of functionality.
• Providing explanations on product usage or user mistakes.
• Reporting bugs with clear technical tasks for developers in Jira.
• Identifying patterns in issues and suggesting UX improvements.
• Collaborating with the IT team: verifying issues, testing solutions, clarifying product behavior.
• Updating internal documentation and guides when needed.
📌Requirements:
• Experience working with construction drawings (Architecture, Electrical, HVAC, Structural).
• English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate or higher.
• Strong communication skills.
👍 A Good Candidate:
• Worked with American construction drawings (preferably Electrical).
• Uses English confidently in a professional setting.
• Thinks analytically, can formalize, explain, and localize problems.
• Understands construction processes and engineering tasks.
• Has a basic grasp of software logic (UI/UX, error patterns).
🌟 An Ideal Candidate:
• Experienced with US electrical drawings, especially in Revit.
• Communicated with US Engineers as a colleague or in support.
• Has deep AEC/BIM process knowledge.
• Participated in software testing or development.
• Clearly formulates tasks in Jiira and spots patterns in user requests.
• Can bridge communication between engineers and developers.
