Backend Lead (Sportsbook Team)

Requirements:
- 5+ years of commercial development experience with Node.js, Express.js.

- 2+ years of experience in a lead role.
- Deep knowledge of MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL (optional), Redis (optional).
- Experience with message queues (RabbitMQ or similar).
- Experience in integrating third-party services (including odds providers, sports data feeds, and risk management systems).
- Understanding of distributed systems and their specifics in real-time betting environments.

Will be a plus:
- Experience with TypeScript, NestJS.
- Experience in writing and maintaining automated tests (Unit/Integration/E2E).
- Experience with high-load systems, especially those handling large volumes of live sports data and bet transactions.
- Knowledge of sport

How You Will Influence the Company’s Progress:
- Develop and optimize sportsbook-specific features, including real-time odds processing, bet settlement, and live event updates.
- Integrate with sports data providers.
- Ensure scalability and high availability of backend systems to handle peak loads during major sporting events.
- Develop and maintain API integrations with external payment systems, fraud detection tools, and internal analytics dashboards.
- Participate in strategic technology decisions, optimizing performance and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Foster a strong development culture, mentor the team, and share knowledge on best practices in sportsbook backend development.
