Senior Backend/Cloud Engineer Offline

Our Customer:

Our customer is a product company with a set of tools for risk scoring and preventing chargeback fraud.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage cloud solutions on AWS, ensuring best practices in security and scalability;
• Monitor and optimize cloud performance, costs, and resource utilization;
• Implement security measures to protect data and applications in the cloud;
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues, providing support to other teams as needed;
• Stay up-to-date with AWS services and industry trends, recommending improvements and innovations.

Required experience and skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering;
• Experience with Node.js and Typescript;
• Experience With AWS;
• Deep experience with AWS Cloud Serverless infrastructures and architectures;
• Strong understanding of AWS services (e.g., ECS, EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM);
• Experience in backend engineering and supporting containerization technology (Kubernetes, EKS/GKE, ECS);
• Experience with IaC tools — CloudFormation or SAM;
• English — Upper-Intermediate.

Would be a plus:

• Experience with Terraform;
• Experience with Python;
• B.S.c in computer science or equivalent.
