Mobile Engineer (React Native)

Join Wix as a React Native Engineer and and play a key role in building a new chatbot-based application from scratch. You’ll join a newly-formed team focused on building the foundation for intelligent, dynamic AI characters. 

Your expertise will be crucial in shaping the mobile experience for our users. In this role, you will:

• Develop and maintain our mobile application using React Native
• Build a new chatbot-centric product, integrating with various APIs and services
• Own the entire feature lifecycle — from requirement gathering to deployment
• Present and advocate for architectural decisions for mobile applications
• Participate in technical discussions to enhance developer experience and optimize performance

Requirements

• 4+ years of software development experience, including at least 1 year with React Native
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React Native frameworks
• Familiarity with integrating APIs and third-party libraries
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience with web development – an advantage
• Experience with video and audio streaming — an advantage
• Experience working with large language models (LLMs) or AI-powered user experiences — an advantage
