Technical Lead

We are a leading player in the Israeli market for quality control and safety in construction, boasting significant traction and a recent $11 million Round A funding for our US expansion. Our product is a mobile and web application designed to ensure the highest standards in construction safety and quality.

We are looking for a talented Technical Lead to join one of our teams and ensure the technical excellence of our product.
 

Role Overview:

  • Responsible for technical standards, architecture, and quality within the team.
  • Conducts R&D on complex features, at least initiating them, building the foundation, and then delegating tasks alongside the Team Lead to other developers.
  • Performs code reviews, ensuring adherence to established rules, standards, and architectural decisions.
  • Provides mentorship and knowledge sharing through PR reviews.
  • Collaborates with other Tech Leads and the Chief Architect to build and maintain a technical debt backlog.
  • Drives the integration of technical strategy and quality standards within the team.

     

Team Composition

  • Product Team: 1 CTO, 1 Architect, 3 Team Leads, 2 Tech Leads, 14 FullStack Developers, 4 Product Owners, 5 QA Engineers, 1 UX Designer, Sales and Support Team
     

Tech Stack:

Languages: JavaScript, TypeScript
Frontend: React, ReactNative, MobX
Backend: NodeJS, GraphQL
Database: MySQL
 

Responsibilities:

  • 15% of time - reviewing and accepting development plans from the developers and team lead
  • 15% of time - assisting developers with the coding and implementing features that they are working on
  • 30% of time - core Review, Skill Share / Mentoring.
  • 40% of time - coding, prototypes, tech-dept backlogs, paying tech-depts (refactors of make a skeleton (direction) for refactoring)

    Recruitment Process
    We’re hiring a Technical Lead  to strengthen our R&D team and scale construction quality and safety to the next level.
    Here’s what to expect:
     

    1. HR Interview (~1h)
    Introductory call with our HR manager — about your experience, the company, and mutual expectations.

    2. Home Task (~1.5–4h)
    A short practical assignment to complete at home.

    3. Tech Interview + Live Coding (~1–1.5h)
    Discussion of your home task + real-time coding with one of our engineers.

    4. (Introduction) Interview with CTO (~30 min)
    Strategic conversation about your vision, seniority, and team fit.

    5. (Introduction) Interview with the client's HR manager (~30 min)
    Introductory meeting with our client's HR manager to agree on final details.
