Manual Tester with automation skills

🚀 About the Role:
We are looking for a QA Engineer (Kafka & Playwright) to join our Enterprise Data Platform team. In this role, you will ensure the quality and reliability of high-scale data-driven applications, working on event-driven architectures, enterprise data services, and real-time data processing. You will collaborate with multiple product teams to drive efficient manual and automated testing for both backend and frontend components.

🎯 Job Description:
As a QA Engineer, you will develop and execute test plans, scenarios, and automation suites to ensure the reliability of complex enterprise applications. Your focus will be on Kafka-based systems, cloud solutions, and end-to-end test automation.

💪 Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Testing & Automation:
✔ Develop and maintain automated test suites for backend (Kafka, Java Spring Boot) and frontend (Playwright).
✔ Perform manual and automated testing across the software development lifecycle.
✔ Execute functional, integration, system, UAT, performance, load, and E2E testing.

🔹 Data & API Testing:
✔ Prepare and manage test data for various use cases.
✔ Conduct API testing using Postman or similar tools.
✔ Perform non-relational database testing.

🔹 Collaboration & CI/CD:
✔ Work closely with developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams to optimize test coverage.
✔ Ensure smooth CI/CD integration and support cloud deployments (Azure).
✔ Provide detailed bug reports and contribute to improving QA processes.

📚 Required Skills:

🔹 Must-have:
✔ Kafka – Ability to read and analyze Kafka code.
✔ Playwright – Experience with test automation.
✔ Manual & automated testing – Strong background in both approaches.

🔹 Technical Expertise:
✔ Experience with Java Spring Boot applications.
✔ Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.
✔ Familiarity with Git for version control.
✔ Hands-on experience with JMeter for performance and load testing.
✔ API testing experience with Postman or similar tools.
✔ Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (Azure).
✔ Experience working in Agile environments.
