We are looking for a talented and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD pipelines, with a strong background in AWS and containerized environments. This role is critical in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of our infrastructure.

This is a remote position.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
  • Build and maintain Docker images and containerized applications on AWS ECS.
  • Implement and manage blue-green deployments to ensure zero-downtime updates.
  • Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions using Grafana and other monitoring tools.
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and security.
  • Automate complex deployment and configuration processes using Terraform (future adoption planned).
  • Maintain and scale databases, including Aurora MySQL and ClickHouse.
  • Support Kafka infrastructure and ensure seamless integration with our microservices architecture.
  • Improve system observability by analyzing logs, metrics, and tracing data.
  • Ensure high availability and disaster recovery strategies for cloud-based applications.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure DevOps best practices are followed.
  • Experiment with Kubernetes is a plus and is considered for future adoption.

 

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS, including ECS, S3, IAM, RDS, and networking.
  • Proficiency in Docker and experience with container orchestration.
  • Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of Linux system administration and shell scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or CloudWatch.
  • Experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Experience in troubleshooting distributed systems and cloud-based applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

 

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration at scale.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in cloud infrastructure.
