Role Overview

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Flamingo, you’ll design, implement, and maintain the cloud infrastructure that powers our platform. You will focus on automating the integration of open-source tools into our deployment pipeline, ensuring seamless scalability and operational efficiency. Your expertise in cloud services, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation will be crucial to the stability and efficiency of our platform as we continue to scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS/GCP.
• Automate CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and Terraform.
• Ensure high availability and security of microservices using Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Optimize monitoring, logging, and alerting with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
• Automate the integration of open-source tools into our DevOps workflows to enhance observability, security, and performance.
• Enhance system reliability through automated scaling, backups, and disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment strategies and system observability.

Qualifications

Must-Have:

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
• Expertise in CI/CD automation and infrastructure as code.
• Proficiency in networking, security best practices, and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with serverless frameworks and AWS Lambda.
• Familiarity with GitOps, Helm, and Kubernetes management tools.
• Knowledge of security automation tools (e.g., Vault, Terraform security modules).
• Expertise in cloud networking (e.g., VPC, subnets, load balancing).
