Senior Software Developer (PHP/ Node JS)

Candor Global Services is looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer for a part-time job to join the US based Certitrec Group team.

• A developer who is passionate about coding, has experience across platforms and technologies.

• Presenting and executing unique ideas for product improvement.

• Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP & Node JS modules.

   

Skills and Competencies:

• 7+ Years of experience (NodeJS — Minimum 4+ years, PHP / MySQL — Minimum 7+ years)
• BE/BS/B.Tech/MCA Degree
• Understanding of PHP Core Coding and Node JS
• PHP & Node JS programming based on OOPS approach and MVC patterns
• Knowledge of Node JS framework. (Express)
• Excellent relational database skills with MySQL
• Understanding of AJAX concepts, JavaScript and standard JS libraries (like jQuery).
• Basic understanding of Web Design — HTML & CSS
• Understanding of Cross Browser compatibility and standard compliances
• Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git / SVN
• Proficient in coding and developing the new program
• Clear understanding of software development best practices
• Understanding of Secure Coding Practices
• Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them

• Experience in using web services (REST/SOAP/Restful JSON)

   

Good to have:

1. Knowledge of CMS. (WordPress).
2. Knowledge of open-source Learning Management system Moodle 3.0 and higher & API Integration.
3. Knowledge of Email Platforms & API like Mandrill.

4. Knowledge of building restful JSON web services and API integration. (Like Stripe, PayPal, Google Maps, WooCommerce / Shopify, Zoho CRM / Creator / Subscription etc).

    

Responsibilities:

1. Build efficient, testable, and reusable NodeJS / PHP modules.
2. Write a custom code to interact with web services and use those services’ responses to build the app.
3. Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
4. Ensure to resolve identified issues related to PHP / Node JS development. (troubleshoot / Debug & fix bugs).
5. Maintain and manage clean & clear documentation.
6. Write all clean object-oriented PHP / Node JS as well as efficient SQL.

7. Develop and deploy new features, modules and write bug-free code for web-based applications.
