Backend Developer

We are looking for a Backend Developer on behalf of our client from Israel—an innovative company specializing in interactive 3D and XR solutions for real estate, retail, and tourism industries. Their platform transforms physical spaces into fully interactive digital environments, enabling businesses to offer immersive experiences through web, mobile, and XR devices.

About the Role

As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable backend services. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Node.js, SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL), and AWS DevOps. While experience in both backend development and cloud infrastructure is preferred, candidates with stronger skills in one area will also be considered. Preference is given to candidates with Node.js and SQL experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js.

• Design and optimize SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) for performance and scalability.

• Manage and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.

• Develop and integrate APIs, ensuring security and performance.

• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud-based applications and infrastructure.

• Collaborate with frontend developers and DevOps engineers to implement new features.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience as a Backend Developer.

• Expertise in Node.js, SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL), and AWS DevOps (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS). Preference for Node.js and SQL.

• Experience with cloud-based applications and backend architecture.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and automation tools.

• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

• B2-level English or higher (written and spoken).

Nice to Have

• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB).

• Familiarity with Terraform or Pulumi (Infrastructure as Code).

• Understanding of WebSockets and real-time applications.

• Knowledge of WebXR and immersive technologies.
