Senior DevOps Engineer

Zoral Labs, a leading provider of research and development to the software industry, is searching for Senior DevOps Engineer to join its development center remotely

About the Role:

As Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and operating a fully automated, cloud-based infrastructure for a high-performance, data-driven online banking platform. You will collaborate closely with a senior engineering team to make critical architectural decisions and take ownership of key components of the system. You will implement GitOps practices and manage Kubernetes clusters, ensuring seamless deployment, security, and performance of mission-critical financial services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business and technical requirements; analyse and define the architecture and design of the system.
• Implement GitOps-driven automation for provisioning and scaling of cloud resources, Kubernetes clusters, database and messaging systems.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and deployment across multiple clusters and environments.
• Conduct security and performance benchmarks to fine-tune system and optimize resource usage.
• Collaborate with the development team to design, implement, review source code, and optimize microservices, ensuring seamless integration with the DevOps pipeline
• Assist in provisioning systems for clients, provide operational guidelines, resolve advanced support issues.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years in DevOps or related roles, with extensive experience in AWS/Azure environments, Kubernetes, Docker, GitOps, and CI/CD tools.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation/ARM Templates), automation scripting, disaster recovery strategies.
• Proficiency with monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus/Grafana, CloudWatch/Monitor), database clusters (PostgreSQL/Citus, Aurora/Cosmos DB).
• Proven track record in security compliance and performance tuning for high-availability systems.
• Expert knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Strong English skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in software architecture and development, particularly in C#, Go, Python, is highly desirable and will significantly enhance your ability to contribute to micro-services design, development, and optimization.
