Senior Backend Developer (Java) Offline

We are actively seeking backend engineer to help build fintech API integrations and ensure seamless transactions. Our client  is a  UI pass-through system enabling real-time USDC payments across the USA and Africa

Project stack: Java, Kafka, Kubernetes, Microservices architecture

Requirements:
 

• 5+ years experience with Java 
• Strong experience in backend API development
• Prior experience in payments infrastructure
• Experience with fintech APIs and 3rd-party integrations (REST/Webhooks)
• Proficiency in authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT)
• Solid understanding of error handling and robust API architecture
• Experience with Kafka, Kubernetes, and microservices

Nice to have:
 

• Understanding of blockchain/crypto
• Experience as a Lead or Architect
   

Responsibilities:
 

• Build and maintain backend API integrations
• Develop and optimize fintech API interactions, including payment processing and real-time transaction handling
• Implement authentication mechanisms and ensure secure data exchange
• Collaborate with the product team to improve infrastructure and optimize performance
