Product Marketing Manager for B2B SaaS Product
Are you the type who spots what needs to get done and jumps in to make it happen without waiting for a script?
At Cinderblock, we help contractors manage jobs, estimates, invoices, and more — all in one app that’s actually easy to use. Now, we’re looking for a marketing maestro to help us tell our story.
The Role:
We’re on the hunt for a highly effective, creative, and hands-on marketing pro to own and drive our marketing efforts. This is a high-ownership position — perfect for someone who loves building from scratch, experimenting, and iterating until it clicks.
Your first mission? Build website content that highlights what makes Cinderblock an excellent choice for contractors. But that’s just the start — you’ll also plug into all sorts of small-but-important marketing needs, like occasional social posts, a monthly product update email, and whatever else helps us build momentum.
Since this is a solo marketing role (for now), you’ll have a major say in how we shape our brand voice, messaging, and strategy. You’ll have collaborators — leadership, designers, product — but you’ll be our only full-time marketer laying the foundation for future growth.
TL;DR
- This is a real ownership opportunity — you won’t just execute, you’ll help shape our story from the ground up.
- Expect to write copy, plan campaigns, review analytics, and experiment with new ideas — all while steering the bigger picture.
- You’ll have support when you need it, but you’ll mostly work independently.
What You’ll Do:
- Own and execute the content strategy for our website, including page copy, feature videos, landing pages, blog posts, and more.
- Write clear, concise, and compelling content that speaks to contractors and small business owners — balancing creativity with straight-to-the-point messaging.
- Collaborate with designers and video creators to bring your ideas to life.
- Own or oversee customer and prospect marketing, whether that’s email, social, or creative campaigns.
- Partner with leadership to refine our positioning, messaging, and overall brand voice.
- Conduct competitive research to make sure our messaging stands out in the B2B SaaS and construction tech space.
- Track and measure content performance — using data to guide future content and campaigns.
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of marketing experience, with a strong focus on content strategy and creation.
- Prior experience with SaaS products (B2B experience is a bonus).
- Exceptional writing and editing skills — fluent, native-level English is required.
- Comfort writing across website pages, landing pages, blog posts, guides, and customer stories.
- Strong project management skills — able to juggle calendars, deadlines, and collaborators.
- Creative thinker with a knack for turning product features into real-world benefits.
- Independent mindset — you’re comfortable making calls without constant hand-holding.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and how content drives discoverability.
- Experience working with designers, developers, and video creators.
- Experience working in small teams, startups, or scrappy environments where you’ve worn a few hats.
Time zone:
This is a full remote position with a flexible schedule, but you’ll need to overlap daily with our U.S.-based team (Eastern Time).
Tools we use:
- Figma for product design.
- CloudCannon for our website CMS.
- Google Analytics to track website performance.
- Notion to keep things organized.
- Slack for daily chatter.
- MS Paint for creating memes.
Benefits of working with us:
- No corporate nonsense — just a passionate team solving real problems.
- Flexible schedules — because life exists outside of work.
- Paid vacation days — no guilt trips.
Pro tip:
Please don’t use ChatGPT to apply for this job 😉 (Using it as a brainstorming buddy? Totally cool — Just show us you).
