As a Talent Sourcing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in identifying and engaging potential candidates for an organization's hiring needs. We view this role as partner in our strategic talent acquisition journey. The position focuses on proactively sourcing passive candidates, building talent pipelines, and collaborating with recruiters to ensure a steady flow of qualified applicants.
Responsibilities:
- Candidate Sourcing: Utilize various channels such as social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Slack, GitHub) and job boards to identify and engage with potential candidates.
- Outreach and Engagement: Craft and send compelling recruiting emails and messages to prospective candidates, effectively communicating job opportunities using automating outreach.
- Collaboration: Work closely with recruiters to understand specific job requirements, align sourcing strategies, and provide insights on market trends and candidate availability.
- Talent Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a network of potential candidates for current and future hiring needs, ensuring a diverse and qualified talent pool.
- Market Research: Conduct research to map out talent pools, gather intelligence on competitors, and stay updated on industry trends to inform sourcing strategies.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and statuses within the recruitment database.
Performance Metrics: Monitor and report on sourcing metrics such as conversion rates, time-to-hire, and quality of hire to assess the effectiveness of sourcing strategies.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in talent sourcing or recruitment (1+ year) within the software industry is essential.
Knowledge of sourcing techniques, AI-driven recruiting tools, tech hiring trends, and the software development lifecycle. - Familiarity with programming languages and frameworks, basic understanding of cloud platforms and DevOps concepts to engage more effectively with tech candidates.
- Evaluate GitHub, resume, and Stack Overflow profiles to identify relevant experience and contributions, ensuring that only the top candidates proceed to the call with the recruiter.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills both Ukrainian and English, with the ability to engage and build relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
Ability to analyze data, understand market trends, and develop insights to inform sourcing strategies.
