PHP Laravel Developer - Special Project

We’re on the lookout for a PHP Laravel Developer who’s ready to take on a challenging and rewarding project: building our own automated DMCA scanner & takedown tool. This role is for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves crafting clean, efficient code, and enjoys solving complex technical problems. Additionally, you must be comfortable with taking the lead in this “sub” project within our larger project.

What You’ll Be Working On

You will be responsible for designing and developing a custom DMCA enforcement tool that can:

• Scan the web for infringing content (including social media platforms, websites, search engines, and Telegram).

• Automate takedown requests for copyright violations.

• Automate Google deindexing requests.

• Integrate with third-party APIs to streamline content reporting and removals.

• Track and manage enforcement actions with a structured dashboard and reporting system.

We want to hear how you would approach this project—from architecture planning to execution. In your application, explain your thought process on how you would develop this tool from scratch.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Building & Maintaining Laravel Apps: You’ll develop new features, optimize performance, and keep everything running smoothly.

• Creating Automated Web Scrapers & Crawlers: Design scrapers to detect infringing content across platforms while handling bot detection challenges.

• API Integration: Work with third-party services (e.g., Google, Telegram, Twitter, web hosts) to submit and track takedown requests.

• Database & Data Processing: Store and process large amounts of data efficiently.

• Front-End Development: Utilize Tailwind CSS & Alpine.js to create user-friendly dashboards.

• Security & Compliance: Ensure the system complies with DMCA regulations and best practices.

• Scalability & Performance Optimization: Architect a system that can handle increasing loads without breaking.

What We’re Looking For

• Laravel Expertise: You have at least 1+ years of experience working with Laravel and can hit the ground running.

• Strong PHP Skills: You write clean, maintainable, and well-documented PHP code.

• Web Scraping & Automation Experience: Familiarity with web crawlers, proxies, headless browsers, and solving anti-bot challenges is a big plus.

• API & Backend Knowledge: Experience integrating with third-party APIs, handling authentication (OAuth, API tokens), and working with structured data (JSON, XML).

• Front-End Know-How: Comfortable with Tailwind CSS, Alpine.js, HTML, and JavaScript libraries.

• Security Mindset: Awareness of rate limits, CAPTCHA handling, and legal compliance related to web scraping and automated takedown requests.

• Version Control: Experience using Git in a collaborative environment.

• Problem-Solving & Adaptability: You’re self-motivated, can break down complex challenges, and propose efficient solutions.

Why Join Us?

• Work on a Unique Project: You’ll be developing an industry-specific tool with a real impact.

• Fast-Growing Environment: You’ll never be bored—expect to learn fast and take on new responsibilities.

• Remote-Friendly: Work from wherever you feel most productive.

• Professional Growth: You’ll gain hands-on experience in automation, cybersecurity, and legal tech.
