Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Trainee Unity Developer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to kickstart their career in game development. As a Trainee Unity Developer, you will gain hands-on experience working with our experienced developers, learning best practices, and contributing to real projects.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of mobile games using Unity (2D/3D).
• Collaborate with designers, artists, and other developers to implement game features and mechanics.
• Participate in code reviews and receive mentorship from experienced developers.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal game performance.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, Unity updates, and mobile game development best practices.
   

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in C# and Unity (2D/3D).
• Personal projects or a portfolio showcasing your work (GitHub, Itch.io, etc.).
• Understanding of the full game development cycle – from architecture to final build.
• Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming principles.
• Passion for mobile game development and a willingness to learn.
• Awareness of AI tools and technologies (prompt engineering is a plus).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
   

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Unity features like Physics, Animations, UI, and Networking.
• Familiarity with game design principles and mechanics.
• Understanding of Unity Services (Ads, Analytics, IAP).
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
