Product Realization Engineer

Job Overview

As a Product Realization Engineer, you will work closely with local OEMs to coordinate and oversee the manufacturing process for our products being built in the UA. You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering and product teams in the UA and Zurich to understand performance requirements, and customer expectations. You will be a champion of quality ensuring our products meet the highest standards by working onsite with the manufacturing teams to set up the production lines and test fixtures. Your role involves managing project timelines, budgets, and resources to deliver products on schedule and within budget.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead our product realization projects in the UA from concept to launch.
  • Work directly with OEM manufacturing teams to transition product designs from prototype to production.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets. Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement strategies to ensure project success.
  • Develop test plans, protocols, and procedures to validate product functionality, reliability, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Analyze test results, identify issues, and implement design improvements as needed.
  • Provide technical support, resolve manufacturing issues, and optimize production processes to meet quality, cost, and schedule targets.
  • Ensure smooth ramp-up and scale-up of manufacturing operations.
  • Be the primary liaison and communication link between the core teams in UA and Europe and the OEMs in UA.

     

Qualifications and Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in leading manufacturing operations projects.
  • Experience working with and delivering robotic systems, preferably UAS.
  • Strong technical background in electronics manufacturing operations, and quality assurance.
  • Basic Python scripting experience.
  • Familiarity with ECAD and PCB design software, such as Altium is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to keep a global team fully informed.
  • B2+ English level.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
