Vendor Distribution Development Manager to $3000 Offline

Softprom is an international IT distributor trusted by over 1500 partners in 30+ countries. We help vendors enter new markets, expand their portfolio of solutions, and strengthen cooperation between manufacturers and partners.
We are currently looking for an experienced IT vendor distribution acquisition specialist who will help us attract new vendors and scale our business in the CIS and Europe.


Work format: remote, with business trips
Location: Ukraine (with the possibility of traveling)
English: C1+

Your responsibilities
Working with vendors:
Market analysis: research of vendor portfolios of distributors in Europe, the USA, and the CIS, assessment of sales volumes and analysts' forecasts. Identification of potentially interesting vendors and proposal to regional management for possible cooperation.
Negotiations and obtaining contracts: active work with vendors that we want to see in the portfolio, holding meetings and communicating about potential partnerships.
Constant monitoring: periodic contact with vendors (once every few quarters or once a year) to determine the moment for entry - change of regional manager, weak performance of the current distributor, the vendor's need to expand sales channels or compliance requirements (need 2+ distributors per region).
Trips to exhibitions and industry events to establish contacts with new vendors.
Organization of data collection on new vendors: analysis of information, coordination with internal teams and decision-making on cooperation.
Work with current vendors: assistance to regional teams in expanding coverage.
Work with partners:
Identification of key market players: analysis of large resellers in the CIS and Central Europe who are not yet working with us or do not use the full range of our portfolio.
Recruiting new partners and training: attracting key market players, training their teams to work with our vendors and products.
Organizing the involvement of regional managers and business developers in the process of developing partnership relations.
Who are we looking for?
Experience in IT distribution or at a vendor
Knowledge of the CIS, Central and Eastern European market
Experience in obtaining new vendor contracts or expanding their coverage
Skills in negotiating at the highest level (CEO, VP, Regional Director)
Willingness to travel
English – C1+ (business communication, negotiations, presentations)
