Head of DevOps Offline

The Head of DevOps at projects will lead the DevOps function, ensuring efficient, scalable, and secure software deployment across multi-cloud environments in a fast-paced, high-growth, and international setting. This role requires a strategic and hands-on leader with expertise in AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, and Oracle Cloud, capable of managing global teams and optimizing CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure management. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in blockchain operations, ensuring seamless deployment and maintenance of blockchain-based environments.

Responsibilities:

• Define, implement, and continuously improve the DevOps strategy to support the rapid development and deployment of blockchain-based enterprise solutions.
• Architect, deploy, and optimize AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, and Oracle Cloud environments while ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
• Develop and maintain highly scalable CI/CD pipelines that enable seamless deployments across multiple cloud environments.
• Manage and mentor a global team of DevOps engineers, fostering collaboration across different time zones and cultures.
• Oversee the deployment and maintenance of blockchain infrastructure, ensuring efficient operation of distributed ledger technologies.
• Drive automation-first practices using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and Helm.
• Implement proactive monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure system reliability, security, and performance.
• Establish and enforce DevSecOps best practices, security automation, compliance frameworks, and disaster recovery strategies across all cloud platforms.

• Work closely with engineering, security, and product teams to optimize DevOps processes, drive innovation, and enhance product delivery.

   

Qualifications & Experience:

• 8+ years of DevOps experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role managing fast-paced, high-growth technology environments.
• Proven experience in multi-cloud deployments with AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, and Oracle Cloud.
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices orchestration.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Drone, Spinnaker).
• Hands-on experience running blockchain environments, including node management, consensus mechanisms, and distributed ledger infrastructure.
• Proficiency in infrastructure automation (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Helm, etc.).
• Advanced scripting skills (Bash, Python, Go) for automation and configuration management.
• Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, ELK stack) for system monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of security best practices, compliance frameworks, and disaster recovery strategies in cloud and DevOps environments.

• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a proactive, hands-on approach.

   

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in blockchain-based infrastructures (Bitcoin SV, Ethereum, Hyperledger, etc.).
• Strong background in multi-cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure, Oracle Cloud) and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Familiarity with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd) and API gateways.

• Experience implementing GitOps workflows using ArgoCD or Flux.
