Senior Magento developer Offline

We are looking for an experienced Senior Magento developer, who will become a part of our talented team and will actively participate in Magento projects development and support.

We are looking for:

• 5 years of PHP development experience
• At least 4 years of Magento 2 development experience
• Experience in GraphQL and REST API development
• Developing “classic” (non-PWA) Magento 2 themes: Block, Layout, ViewModel, LESS
• JavaScript for Magento 2: jQuery, KnockoutJS
• Experience with multi-website and multi-lingual Magento projects
• MySQL knowledge: writing and optimizing SQL and related code
• Working with at least one Abode Commerce project
• Experience with Linux/macOS systems and Docker
• Understanding of the application life cycle and development methodologies

• English: sufficient for written business communication

   

Will be a plus:

• Experience in facilitating API development and collaboration between the teams
• Experience with profiling and log analysis tools (Blackfire.io, NewRelic, etc.)

• Working with AWS (S3, ECS, CloudWatch) or the respective GCP/Firebase services

   

Responsibilities:

• Extend and develop GraphQL and/or REST API, and develop the related business logic
• Product, pricing, customer, and order data synchronization with external systems
• Optimize backend performance
• Support existing Magento 2 instance(s) during the transition from the classic theme to the headless mode
