UX/UI Designer in GameDev

We are a passionate and ambitious studio dedicated to creating an immersive PC RPG game that captivates players with rich worlds and engaging mechanics. To bring our vision to life, we need a talented UI/UX Designer with experience in GameDev to craft intuitive, immersive, and visually stunning interfaces. This is a flexible, hourly-based collaboration with the potential for long-term partnership.

Key Responsibilities:
 

•  Design user-friendly and visually compelling interfaces tailored for a PC RPG experience.
• Work closely with the Game Designer and development team to ensure a seamless and immersive user experience.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to define intuitive navigation and interaction flows.
• Conduct user research and usability testing, refining designs based on feedback to enhance player engagement.
• Stay updated on RPG UI/UX trends, integrating new technologies and best practices to elevate the game’s design.
• Collaborate with the art team to align UI elements with the game's aesthetics and storytelling.
• Continuously refine and improve UI/UX design processes to enhance efficiency and creativity.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in UI/UX design for GameDev.
• Strong knowledge of UI/UX principles and player behavior in RPG games.
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar tools.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with designers, artists, and developers.
• Keen attention to detail and a creative mindset to design immersive gaming experiences.
• Ability to accept and implement feedback to refine and enhance UI/UX designs.
• Upper Intermediate + level of English to communicate effectively with the team and understand design documentation.

Will be a plus:
 

• Passion for RPG games and an understanding of what makes RPG interfaces immersive and engaging.
• Basic knowledge of Unity3D.
• Experience with user research and usability testing in gaming.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and other project management tools.
