Analytics Engineer
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Analytics Engineer to join our expanding data analytics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing the data processing, transformation, and modeling processes to enhance the overall efficiency of our analytical infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:
Create scalable data models for analytics and reporting, ensuring efficient data architecture for business insights.
Develop, optimize, and automate ETL/ELT pipelines, employing advanced data transformation techniques to ensure efficient and reliable data processing.
Work closely with business analytics and BI teams to understand data requirements and establish data processing standards that align with business needs.
Implement and monitor data quality control measures, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of data used for reporting and analysis.
Suggest improvements and new data models that will enhance research and reporting capabilities.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or related fields.
Strong proficiency in SQL with hands-on experience in query optimization and data modeling.
Practical experience with modern data transformation frameworks (e.g., dbt, Dataform, etc.).
In-depth understanding of data warehouse architecture and principles for efficient usage and optimization.
Experience with ETL/ELT processes and workflow management tools.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and databases, including Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Redshift, and others.
Basic knowledge of BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and their integration with data models.
Basic programming knowledge (e.g., Python) for creating automation scripts and data transformation processes.
Knowledge of data management principles, including data governance, quality control, and security.
Experience working with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD processes for data transformations.
Would be a plus - dbt (Data Build Tool)
