Marketing Data Analyst
Fintech company is looking for a Marketing Data Analyst to drive data-driven decision-making and optimize marketing performance.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Marketing Data Analyst to transform data into actionable insights, improve campaign efficiency, and enhance customer engagement. This role involves collecting and analyzing data from various marketing channels, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), conducting A/B testing, and optimizing marketing spend. The ideal candidate will have experience in marketing analytics, data visualization, and performance measurement to support strategic decision-making and business growth.
Main Responsibilities:
- Data-driven insights generation to achieve marketing goals and improve marketing performance.
- Organizing the process from idea generation to A/B testing, analyzing test results, and implementing changes based on the obtained results.
- Gather and organize data from internal databases and various marketing channels (website traffic, direct communication campaigns, digital ads, etc.)
- Create and present reports, dashboards, and visualizations for monitoring KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) such as ROI, conversion rates, CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost), and LTV (Customer Lifetime Value).
- Analyze customer behavior, campaign performance, and market trends.
- Segment audiences based on demographics, behavior, and engagement.
- A/B test campaigns, calculate planned performance metrics, and measure effectiveness.
- Conduct competitive analysis to benchmark performance. Track industry trends, customer preferences, and emerging marketing technologies.
- Set up and control of all marketing analytics tools like Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Adjust etc.
- Calculating the planned ROI for marketing campaigns and summarising the actual result.
- Presentations with monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual results
Expected Results:
- Developed and maintained real-time dashboards tracking key marketing metrics, including leads, deals, CAC, applications, CPA (cost per application), clicks, CPC, bounce rates, etc., with data refreshed at least once per hour.
- Achieved at least a 10% reduction in CAC by implementing A/B test insights and making data-driven decisions, improving efficiency across markets: Romania, Czech Republic, Mexico, Spain.
- Guaranteeing fully automated data collection and processing, ensuring the marketing team does not spend time on data gathering or manual adjustments.
Professional Qualifications:
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation (5+ years of experience).
- Experience with Data Analytics & Visualization Tools: Excel (Advanced: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros), SQL (for querying databases), Power BI / Looker (for data visualization).
- Experience with Digital Analytics Tools: Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Adjust, Appsflyer.
- Proficiency in SEO Analytics Tools: Ahrefs, Similarweb, and other similar platforms.
- Skilled in designing, running, and analyzing A/B tests to optimize marketing performance, with a focus on deriving actionable, data-driven insights.
- Experience in Customer Segmentation & Cohort Analysis.
- Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving: Ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- English - ability to work with English speaking team is a MUST
