Junior Customer Support Specialist to $800

Norse Digital is a friendly, international team of professionals based in various cities across Ukraine and Europe.

We provide a range of services, including full-cycle software development on an outsourced basis, customer service, long-term post-release support, and recovery management for a variety of software solutions, web-based systems, and websites. 

One of our current priorities is to hire a Junior Customer Support Specialist. This role is focused on facilitating productive interactions between developers and customers, ensuring efficient handling of technical requests. Responsibilities will include everything from implementing new features and system components for existing software to ad-hoc troubleshooting and issue resolution.

Ideal candidates should have:

• A basic understanding of the software development process and familiarity with tools such as issue trackers and virtual customer support (VCS) systems; theoretical knowledge is acceptable.
• Strong soft skills. We value team players who are communicative, supportive, and eager to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
• A fluent level of written and spoken English is required, as the role involves communication with international customers.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships both with customers and with internal teams such as development and project management, and quality assurance teams on the other is, are a key to success in this area.

This position involves working on a rotating shift basis, with a schedule that will be created and/or updated monthly. The shifts may include:

• Saturday–Sunday: 10 AM – 6 PM (EET)
• Monday–Friday: 10 AM – 6 PM (EET)
• Monday–Friday: 3 PM – 11 PM (EET)

The total workload is 40 hours per week (8 hours × 5 days), including official holidays according to the national holiday calendar.

Holiday shifts will be compensated either with extra payment or by providing an additional day off.
