Data Tech Lead for Game analytical platform

We are looking for a passionate Data Lead to join our dynamic team dedicated to transforming data into actionable insights and enabling advanced AI applications.
As a Data Tech Lead, you will play an important role in designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines and architectures for AI and machine learning initiatives. You will work closely with AI/ML engineers and software developers on various tasks for the effective collection, storage, and processing of data from various sources, including social media and in-game interactions.
Responsibilities:
- Data Pipeline Development: Design and implement flexible data pipelines for collecting and processing large volumes of data from social media platforms and other external sources.
- Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources to support analytics and machine learning models that drive AI interactions in gaming.
- Data Quality Assurance: Control high data quality and integrity through automated data validation and error-handling processes.
- Data Storage Solutions: Optimize data storage solutions using cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, or Azure) to support real-time AI inference and analytics.
- Analytics Support: Assist in developing data analytics tools and dashboards that provide insights into player behavior, social media trends, and game performance.
- Documentation and Best Practices: Maintain clear documentation of data architecture, ETL processes, and data governance practices.
Qualification:
- At least Upper-Intermediate level of English
- 8+ years in software engineering, with a strong focus on data engineering and scalable data architecture and processing.
- 2+ years of experience in technical leadership with an experience in building and organizing of development teams.
- Experience with in-game data in the Gamedev or iGaming industries.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Scala/Java, and various databases.
- Expertise in building ETL processes and data pipelines.
- Familiarity with data warehousing solutions (Redshift, Snowflake and BigQuery) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Solid understanding of data modeling, data governance, and best practices in data management.
- Experience with various cloud-based data solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Will Be a Plus:
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and familiarity with statistical analysis tools.
- Knowledge of social media APIs for data collection or automated content posting.
- Passion for gaming and understanding of how data drives user engagement and gameplay experiences.
