Job Description: Casino Integration Developer (Backend developer)

We are seeking a technically skilled and highly motivated Casino Integration Developer to lead the implementation and maintenance of integrations with casino game providers. This role requires a strong background in development with modern programming languages, a focus on API integration, and a passion for delivering robust and scalable solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the iGaming industry, the ability to work directly with game providers, and a deep understanding of casino systems and real-time application development.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain integrations with casino game providers using JavaScript, Node.js and frameworks used by the company.
• Work closely with game providers to analyze API documentation, define requirements, and ensure seamless integration with the casino platform.
• Write, test, and debug code to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of casino game integrations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with integrations by collaborating with game provider technical teams and internal stakeholders.
• Optimize and enhance integration workflows to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with internal teams to define and implement technical requirements for new game integrations and system upgrades.
• Maintain and update detailed technical documentation related to integrations, including API workflows, system dependencies, and troubleshooting guides.
• Participate in the development of the back-end part of platform.
• Develop new and support existing backend microservices.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working on high-quality production software with a focus on API integrations or similar roles within the iGaming or casino industry.
• Proven expertise in integrating APIs (REST, WebSocket, SOAP) from casino game providers.
• Experience working with third-party game providers, including managing communications and resolving integration challenges.
• Proficiency in Node.js.
• Comfortable working with microservices architecture: patterns, integration of microservices, release management
• Experience building RESTful web services
• Experience working with Redis, MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
• Experience with WebSocket, Message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka, SQS, etc.)
• Knowledge in Express.js (or similar frameworks).
• Strong experience in integrating with 3rd-party APIs.
• Knowledge in profiling & monitoring Node.js applications.
• Understanding of CI/CD, Git branching strategies.
• Following industry best practices: test coverage, code review, branching strategy etc.
• Able to quickly fix bugs and solve problems in large, complex apps.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and debug integration issues at a code level, collaborating with game provider teams when necessary.
• Strong focus on delivering clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Good level on English to read the tech documentation and participate in communications with providers (mostly in written form).

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with major casino game provider integrations in the iGaming industry.
• Familiarity with gaming regulations and compliance in different jurisdictions.
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS/Google)
• Used virtual machines and container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience with AWS SQS
• Experience with Sequelize
• Familiar with Moleculer framework
