Senior React Developer

Project Overview
We operate in ed-tech, helping hundreds of thousands of students with academic needs. Our platform offers academic paper writing services, allowing clients to select work types, set requirements, and communicate directly with authors. We’re continuously expanding our product’s functionality to enhance customer experience and improve financial results.

What do you need to do?
 

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and ship new features for web applications.

- Develop responsive web interfaces, ensuring optimal performance, accessibility, and user experience.

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

- Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to gather requirements and define project specifications.

- Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability and meet product objectives.

- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the team utilizes the best practices.

- Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality standards within the team.

Work experience:

- 7+ years in frontend-development after graduating from university.

- 5+ years of solid experience with React.js and TypeScript.

- Strong understanding of modern front-end design patterns and principles.

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, WebSockets and asynchronous request handling.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead by example.

 

We are looking for you if you have: 
 

Expertise in JavaScript and React:

  • Deep understanding of JavaScript, including ES6+ features.
  • Extensive experience with React, including state management, routing and performance optimisation.

Strong Understanding of Frontend Ecosystem:

  • Familiarity with modern build tools and workflows.
  • Understanding design patterns.
  • Knowledge of frontend testing frameworks.
  • Experience with version control systems, and semantic versioning.
  • Clean code and architecture.
  • Understanding non-functional requirements.

Experience with UI/UX Design:

  • Ability to translate UI/UX design into high-quality code.
  • Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
  • Understanding design systems.

API Integration:

  • Experience with RESTful, WebSockets and GraphQL APIs.
  • Understanding of asynchronous programming, including Promises and async/await.

Performance Optimization:

  • Knowledge of techniques to improve application performance, such as lazy loading, code splitting, memoization and caching.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Collaboration and Teamwork:

  • Strong team player who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.

Adaptability and Continuous Learning:

  • Willingness to adapt to new technologies and continuous learning.
  • Open to feedback and able to learn from mistakes.

Working conditions

-Do you have an office that works in the absence of light?
Yes, of course! Our office is equipped with everything necessary, ensuring uninterrupted work, even during blackouts.
 
-Can I work remotely from another country?
Yes. We understand the importance of being safe.
 
-Do you cooperate with Russia and its citizens?
No. Our company was founded in 2014, and even then, we understood that Russia is an aggressor country, and we do not want to have any relations with it.
