Senior .Net/SQL Developer Offline

Softwarium develops software for American, Canadian, and Norwegian customers in the educational, medical, energy, and security spheres.

We’re seeking an experienced .Net/SQL Developer to join the team and help deliver the project to our US customer.

Our Customer provides services in MRO supply chain management around the globe, including business entities in the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Singapore. The project is founded on the infrastructure which ensures the client’s success. It is based on the customer’s management software package of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Team: PM, 2 QA, 2 Devops, 5 Developers, 2 SQL devs, 2 Power BI Devs, Architect, 3 Mobile devs.

Stack: C#, ASP.NET Core, .Net Framework, MS SQL, Azure Services, CRM Web Services

Necessary skills:

— 5+ years of experience in commercial development;

— Strong experience building applications with .NET Core and .Net Framework: ASP.NET MVC/Core/WebApi, dependency injection;

— MS SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures), performance tuning;

— Working experience with any NoSQL Database (preferably ElasticSearch);

— Experience with unit and integration testing (XUnit), self-hosted ASP.NET integration tests, mocking, and coverage estimation.

— Able to implement solid, high-quality, and easy-to-support solutions;

— Proactive approach to problem-solving, openness to new ideas, willingness to work in a team on a flexible schedule

Will be a plus:

— Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services;

— Basic administration skills;

— Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes;

— Azure Services: Azure Container Apps, KeyVault, Blob Storage, Azure Functions, etc.;

— Experience in migrating Windows Services and WCF to modern tech stacks;

— APM tools like Kibana, Prometheus, Azure Application Insights, or any other;

— Proficiency in ADO.NET, LINQ, Dapper, and Entity Framework;

— Experience with WCF;

— Experience with CRM.

— Understanding document stores, particularly ElasticSearch.

As a backend developer, you will:

— Develop backend for Mobile and Web apps;

— Maintain old application and constantly work on new features for the new one;

— Design, develop, test, and deploy RESTful APIs according to the business requirements;

— Together with a competent team, build scalable, high-performance application;

— Work closely with our customers to understand their challenges and opportunities;

— Take part in the entire development process, from idea to implementation;
