BigCommerce Developer (Catalyst Experience)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled BigCommerce Developer with experience in Catalyst to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in BigCommerce APIs, GraphQL, and Stencil framework, along with hands-on experience in Catalyst to build and customize eCommerce solutions. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain BigCommerce stores using Catalyst and other modern development tools.
• Utilize BigCommerce APIs (REST, GraphQL) to build custom features and integrations.
• Customize and extend the Stencil framework for front-end development.
• Implement headless commerce solutions where necessary.
• Optimize website performance, security, and scalability.
• Work closely with designers, product managers, and other developers to create seamless user experiences.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in the BigCommerce environment.
• Stay up to date with BigCommerce updates, Catalyst enhancements, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in BigCommerce development and experience with Catalyst.
• Hands-on experience with BigCommerce APIs, GraphQL, and Webhooks.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern front-end frameworks.
• Experience with Stencil theme development and customization.
• Familiarity with headless commerce architectures and integrating BigCommerce with external systems.
