Senior Fullstack Developer with a strong focus on backend development (NodeJS and Java) - only Ukraine

We are seeking a talented Senior Fullstack Developer with a strong focus on backend development. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Node.js & Java and a keen interest in expanding their skills. Experience with NestJS and cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Dataflow, will be a significant advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js
• Develop event-driven code in Dataflow (Java)
• Implement and manage APIs for webs
• Work with databases, including designing schemas and writing efficient queries
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Troubleshoot and debug applications

• Participate in code reviews and ensure coding standards are met

   

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Fullstack development, with a stronger emphasis on backend technologies
• Proficiency in Node.js and Java
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Proficiency in relational databases, including database design, normalization, indexing, and optimizing SQL queries for performance
• Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Spoken English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with the NestJS framework
• Experience with cloud platforms, with a strong preference for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) & Dataflow
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of microservices & event-driven architecture
• ReactJS – would be an advantage
• Kubernetes – would be an advantage
