Android developer (Portugal) Offline

We are looking for an Android Developer to join our team of talented engineers in designing and building the next generation of our application. You will be responsible for developing and optimizing our Android product, working on high-load systems with a multi-million user base.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in building Android applications 
• Solid knowledge of Android SDK, Java core, Kotlin
• Good knowledge of OOP and software design patterns 
• Knowledge of multi-threading and networking 
• Experience creating custom UI components & experience with Canvas 
• Understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
• Experience in Jira, Git, and any CI/CD system

Nice To Have:

• Experience with Kotlin Multi-Platform

Responsibilities: 

• Be responsible for Android development of the product and testing new technologies and ideas
• Write tests and internal tech documentation 
• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features 
• Work with outside data sources and APIs 
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability 
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance 
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
